Toronto has another hockey-crazed athlete to count as its own -- Randy Wells.

The Blue Jays right-hander grew up playing hockey in southern Illinois and his first questions after he was officially told yesterday he had made the 25-man roster were: "Have you been to the Hockey Hall of Fame? What's it like?"

Saddled with No. 96 through spring training, Wells is hoping he can now have No. 27, the number of his favourite hockey player --Jeremy Roenick.
