ROENICK - THE HAT TRICKS

JR recorded his first NHL hat trick 12/23/89 at Toronto. He recorded his second and third career hat tricks 10/11/90 at Pittsburgh and 12/16/90 vs. Minnesota. Roenick scored four goals for the first time 12/7/91 at NY Islanders (fourth career hat trick). He registered his fifth career hat trick 11/7/92 at Quebec and registered his second career five-point and four-goal game 2/24/94 vs. Winnipeg (sixth career hat trick).

Co-winner of the NHL Player of the Week for the period 11/22-28/99 after posting nine points in three games including back-to-back hat tricks (his seventh and eighth career hat tricks) 11/25/99 vs. New Jersey and 11/26/99 vs. Colorado. Registered his ninth career hat trick (3-1=4) including career goal #400, 2/23/01 at Buffalo, thus becoming just the third US born player to reach the milestone (Joe Mullen/502 & Pat Lafontaine/468

Recorded 10th career hat trick and was named the 2nd star of the game in 8-0 win vs. SJ, Dec. 30, 2006
